The Disability Issues Workshop
It was held on 19th December 2010 at Multipurpose Hall, Spastic Children’s Association of Sel. & WP from 9.15 a.m. to 12.30. The selected issues for discussions were:-
a. Quality Care
- Chaired by Datin Ruhani Haji Ibrahim
- Dr. Aminah Bee Mohd. Kassim from Public Health Department, Ministry of Health was the speaker for the topic.
b. Special Education
- Chaired by Datuk Dr. Mohinder Singh
- The speaker was Dr. Ab. Halim bin Sulong from Special Education Unit, Ministry of Education.
c. Accessibility and Transportation
- Chaired by Dato’ Ghazali Dato’ Yusoff
- The speaker was Dato’ Shamsiah Abdul Rahman, an advisor for Minister of Women, Family and Community Development
