What is MCR’s achievement in year 2018?

1.         National Abilympics Competition

In the year 2018, MCR organised the National Abilympics Competition to select 15 representative from each category to the 10th International Abilympics.

A total of 145 PWDs participated in the competition.

The ‘International Abilympics Training’ launching ceremony was held on 3RD December 2018 at DC Mal, Bukit Damansara, Kuala Lumpur. The ceremony was also part of the International Day of Disabled Day 2018 celebration. YBhg Encik John Riba Marin, the Deputy Chief Executive (Operation) of SOCSO representing YB Tuan M. Kulasegaran, Human Resources Minister to officiate this ceremony.

3.3       Pengurusan Seni Kulinari & Gastronomi, Fakulti Pengurusan Hotel dan Pelancongan, UiTM has organised a ‘Abilympics Luncheon’ fundraising event on 10th December 2018. The proceeds will be utilised for training funding to the 2018 National Abilympics Competition winners.
